Family ties extend to new generation at Geon's Orangeville plant

Eric Maclean’s father, an aunt and two uncles also have worked at the Orangeville site, either for Geon or its predecessor firm BFGoodrich Co. In total, the Maclean and Morrison families have worked at the plant for more than 65 years. On a recent LinkedIn post, Geon officials said that Eric Maclean “comes from a family with a storied history at Geon.” Westlake, Ohio-based Geon is a major compounder of PVC, polypropylene and other materials.
