Cambodia Government issued an official announcement , Cambodia former king Sihanouk passed away at the age of 90 in Beijing .
Cambodia National TV announced Cambodia official announcement at six o’clock in the morning , the official announcement said Sihanouk passed away for natural cause in Beijing hospital at 1:20 .Cambodia government will returned his remains from Beijing to Phnom Penh ,traditional funeral was held at the palace .
Cambodia deputy prime minister said : It is a huge loss for Sihanouk’s departure ,we were very grief .He is a great king, we all respect and admire him .
Sihanouk was born on October 31, 1922 . He was elected to the king by throne committee in April 1941 .In 1953,Sihanouk lead Cambodia obtains the national independence . Then Cambodia end of the colonial rule of France for up to 90 years . Before passed way he suffering from diseases such as cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure , rest and treatment in Beijing .
