Production requirements of die-casting release agent

Aluminum die-casting mold release agent is an auxiliary agent that must be used in the production process. Because the volume of the product is different, the structure is different, the post-processing requirements of the product are different, and the requirements for the release agent are also different. Here is an introduction to the production requirements of release agent:

1. Oil. As a useful material for metal isolation, silicone oil is a very ideal choice. This silicone oil must have the characteristics of high temperature resistance and not affect the post-processing performance.

2. Water-based. Because the mold is at a high temperature, any solvent-based release agent is not suitable. Using water as the dispersion medium, the water evaporates quickly in a high temperature environment, and the mold release useful materials are evenly distributed on the surface of the mold cavity. Uniform film formation, strong adhesion, high temperature erosion resistance, and good demoulding performance.

3. Emulsion. Choose a suitable emulsifier to emulsify silicone oil to prevent carbonization at high temperatures. To keep the product and cavity surface clean.

4. There is no corrosion to die castings and mold equipment. The contours of the die-casting products are clear, and the surface is smooth without traces, which does not affect the painting. The volatile matter is smokeless, non-toxic, does not pollute the environment, and does not harm the well-being of operators.

In order to ensure the smooth release of the product, a suitable die-casting release agent must be selected. But it should be noted that the release agent will affect the oxidation and coloring effect of .

If a better quality release agent is used for the oxidation and coloring of die-cast aluminum, the molten metal will not penetrate into the die-casting part even if splashing is serious during the injection process. If a low-quality release agent is used, the surface of the die-casting part will be corroded, and at the same time, the corrosion will penetrate into the interior. Moreover, if the release agent generates too much gas, it will also be involved in the die casting to form pores. Therefore, in order to have a good effect on the die-casting parts, the quality must be strictly controlled when selecting the release agent.
